An in-line (horizontal) fibre splice closure, particularly suited to FTTH fibre distribution. It is built for long-term use where surface temperatures swing widely or UV exposure is strong, and also suits direct burial in dry ground or manholes that stay free of water. Cable entries are sealed by winding sealing tape onto the cable until it fills the entry hole, keeping the closure airtight.
Features
- Roomy interior with plenty of space to coil and store fibre
- Slide-in-lock fibre splice trays that open to about 90°
- Fibre bend radius meets international standards
- Splice trays are quick to add or remove
- Re-enterable without special tools
- High-strength engineering plastic (PC), suits -40 to +65℃
- Sealed with a sealing ring and sealing tape
Typical uses
Bunched (loose) fibre, especially FTTH fibre distribution. Aerial, underground, wall, handhole and duct installations.
