A self-supporting figure-8 aerial fibre cable with an armoured central loose tube and a steel wire or steel strand messenger. Built for aerial installation, particularly short spans.
Construction
- 2 to 24 fibres
- Central loose tube
- Steel tape armour
- Messenger: steel wire or steel strand
- Black UV- and water-resistant polyethylene (PE) jacket
Features
- Good mechanical and temperature performance
- High-strength, hydrolysis-resistant loose tube
- Special tube filling compound protects the fibres
