A 2-fibre flat drop cable with an integrated messenger, supplied on a 1 km drum. Designed for the aerial span between a distribution point and the customer premises in an FTTH build.
The self-supporting messenger carries the mechanical load of the span so the fibres themselves stay unstressed, and the bend-insensitive G657A2 fibre tolerates the tight radii encountered at building entry and inside termination boxes.
