ASU is an unarmoured round aerial cable with two FRP strength members and a black polyethylene outer jacket, for short-span aerial and duct runs.
Construction
- 250 µm coloured fibres in a PBT loose tube
- Two FRP (fibreglass-reinforced plastic) strength members
- Extruded PE outer sheath
Features
- Small size and light weight
- Two FRP strength members give good tensile performance
- Gel-filled or gel-free; good water resistance
- High fibre capacity
Typical uses
Short-span aerial and duct installation.
