A central loose tube outdoor cable with steel wire armour and a single black polyethylene jacket. The gel-filled tube stops water getting in and travelling along the cable, and the steel wire armour gives high tensile strength and crush resistance.
Construction
- 1 to 24 fibres, 250 µm coloured
- Single gel-filled central loose tube
- Strength member: overall steel wire armour
- Black UV- and water-resistant polyethylene (PE) outer jacket
Why use it
- Gel-filled central tube protects the fibres
- Steel wire armour gives high tensile strength and crush resistance
- Compact, easy to install
- UV- and water-resistant
Typical uses
Inter-building voice and data links; aerial or underground conduit installation; FTTx and access networks.
